The specialized medium WABetaInfo has revealed that WhatsApp has released a new update for its desktop version, specifically 2.2037.6.
An update that incorporates one of the most anticipated functions: calls and video calls. Regarding the first of them, for some time they have been talking about its possible incorporation to the desktop version of WhatsApp, but now new details are known about it.
WhatsApp Web is considering the idea of offering in the coming weeks the call and video call functions, which have long been available for the mobile version.
Some features that are currently in a testing phase, although it is already known how they will work. As can be seen in the images below these lines, when you receive a call from WhatsApp Web, a floating window will appear where you can accept or reject the incoming call.

On the other hand, when you are the one who makes the call, WhatsApp Web will show another type of window, smaller and in which the status of the call is included (as seen in the image).
