EA has announced a collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprisesto work on the development of a new free mobile game based on the work of JRR Tolkien.
The game, called The Lord Of The Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, will be a collectible-based role-playing game inspired by the Lord of the Rings universe. His arrival is scheduled, if all goes well, for next summer.

Both companies say they intend to create a game that provides immersive storytelling, with turn-based combat, deep gathering systems, and an extensive roster of characters from the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit universe.
As they have explained, the game will allow users to compete throughout the vast world while telling stories of the world designed by Tolkien.

The combination of high-fidelity graphics, cinematic animations and stylized art immerses players in the fantasy of Middle-earth, where they will face their favorite characters.”
The game can be downloaded for freebut will most likely contain purchases that will allow you to unlock characters, abilities, objects or other accessories. It will take a Internet connection to be able to play.
Its beta launch is scheduled for next summer, and it will initially be available in a limited number of regions around the world. At the moment, an estimated date for the arrival of the final version of the game has not been given.
