We are talking about a processor manufactured in a 6 nanometer TSMC format with ARM A78 architecture, and equipped with an ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
Through the initiative called “Dimensity Open Resource Architecture” by MediaTek, OnePlus has had the possibility to customize the processor through add-ons that have been tried enhance different aspects of the processor, in this case focusing efforts on improving the performance of the Nord 2 in artificial intelligence tasks.
These improvements are intended, for example, to improve night image capture or to offer better gaming performance while reducing power consumption.
The chip is backed by 6 or 8 GB of RAM, Y 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. All this, accompanied by a higher capacity battery than in the original model, with 4,500 mAh.
But it's not just the battery capacity that has increased. So has the loading speed, which happens to be 65W to catch up of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Thanks to this technology, the device is capable of charge from zero to one hundred in just 30 minutes.
