MIUI 13: new clues appear from Xiaomi’s long-awaited customization layer

The new version of the Chinese cape will arrive with important aesthetic novelties.

MIUI 13, the new version of the customization layer created by Xiaomi, could reach the devices in August. It is something that has been rumored for weeks, but today we come with more information.

A Chinese leaker has published some more data on Weibo, the most important social network in the Asian country. Bald Panda – that's his name – reveals key features of MIUI 13, getting a little closer to your arrival.

The news that will come to Xiaomi mobiles

The new version of MIUI would have a fresh look, changes to animations and fonts. Would also include new redesigned wallpapers and icons for different applications. There is also talk of the inclusion of a floating window for games, very similar to the one we already see for applications like YouTube or Netflix.

But not all the changes would be solely aesthetic. MIUI 13 would arrive with a new RAM management system, designed to seek greater efficiency in devices with modest specifications. In any case, for now all are unconfirmed rumors, we will have to wait – perhaps not too long – to know its different characteristics.
