Tagging is easy thanks to the platform’s tools, but how can you see who has tagged you in a post or Storie? This part is key to see the publications in which you go, or those that your friends want you to see.

Without extending ourselves further, let’s get into the world of Instagram tags.

It is difficult to take a walk through the Instagram Stories without seeing any mention, and that is this has become one of the most used tools in the app.

Whether it’s to mention the person in the photo, to indirectly tell a friend to see what you’ve posted, or to enter one of the popular giveaways, mentions are the solution.

By using them, and if you have it configured, you allow the tagging to also publish the story in your account.

But let’s get down to business, how can you see if someone has mentioned you? Well, Instagram will send you a notification and will allow you to see it in the private messages menu.

If you enter this menu, you will see that you have a pending notification from the user who mentioned you. To enter, you will read “He mentioned you in his story” and you will see a preview image of the post in which you have been tagged.

If you want to share it on your account, select “Add this content to your story.”
