Factory versions of the new Android 4.3 for Nexus devices are available for download

The best part of owning a Nexus device is the ability to receive updates almost immediately. Yes yesterday the new Android 4.3 version was announced we already have the download available e versions for almost all Nexus terminals: Google nexus 4, 7 and 10, the different GSM variants of the Galaxy Nexus, and even the Nexus Q.

If you don't want to wait for the update to arrive, you just have to go to the Google developers site, clicking on the link at the end of the article.

The procedure is the next:

1- Download the appropriate image image to the device.

2- Unzip the downloaded file.

3- Connect your Nexus phone or tablet to the computer. Verify that ADB is working (by typing ‘Adb devices' in command line or terminal).

4- Reboot the device in fastboot mode (adb reboot-bootloader)

5- Navigate to the download directory, that is c: nakasi-jwr66v type ‘flash all.bat' for Windows or sudo. / flash-all.sh for Linux.

6- When we are done, we should have something similar to this (the image is from a Nexus 7):
